Ladies,
I'm very excited about our 2013 Warrior Princess Book Club meetings. The first meeting of 2013 will be Saturday, February 9, 2013 from 3:30pm - 5pm at my house. If everyone would bring a healthy snack or drink to share with everyone (about 10), nothing big or expensive, that would be wonderful.
We have decided to break up the younger girls and the older girls into two groups. The adult leader for the younger group will be Ms. Thais (pronounced Ty-eese). The adult leader for the older girls will be Ms. Keisha. The younger girls will be reading the classic tale, Charlotte's Web by E.B White, as their first book of the new year. The older girls will be reading Elsewhere by Gabrielle Zevin.
I will try to purchase copies of Charlotte's Web and Elsewhere for each of the girls that RSVP. I will send out a text for the RSVP. You can also purchase the ebook via Nook or Kindle if you have an iPad, iPod, Kindle, Nook, or other tablet device. If you can not make it to the meeting but want to start reading, then please purchase your book and begin reading the book. I will try to send out weekly updates via the blog about reading progress tracking even when we don't meet.

The Lemonade Wars Series - Book 1 Complete
So, we've completed book #1 in the series and we are ready to begin and discuss book #2 Lemonade Crime at our next meeting. Everyone has done a great job getting through the book. We have had so much fun at our meetings. We have even had a few girls express their interest after hearing about it.

First Meeting - WPBC
Our first meeting was a success!
The girls had a great time learning about how the club would run and about our first series...Lemonade Wars. The girls paired up and began reading the first few chapters. Then we decorated Pink Lemonade Cupcakes and scheduled our next meeting.

Welcome
On our first meeting we're gonna have lots of fun. We're gonna do arts and crafts that go with the book. The book that we're gonna be reading first is a series. It is titled The Lemonade War. So the first meeting is on the 15th of September. I hope everybody can make it to our first meeting.
